October 1, 2026: The Committee has revised the reporter’s note for the “beyond a reasonable doubt” instruction to include a reference to State v. Kolts, 2026 VT 10, ¶ 21; the instruction and note for violation of abuse prevention order (VAPO) to maintain consistency with the statute regarding the “notice” element; and the lewdness instruction to remove references to “lasciviousness.”
