December 12, 2016: The Committee had added a new instruction and reporter’s note for the crime of Enabling the Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. 7 V.S.A. § 658(a)(2). The new instruction and note reflect the Supreme Court’s recent decision in State v. Richland, 2015 VT 126. The Committee has also revised the instruction for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor to reflect a recent legislative amendment. See 7 V.S.A. § 658(a)(1); 2015, No. 51, § A.14, eff. Jan. 1, 2016.
