Kim<\/span>, 630 N.W.2d 627 (Mich. App. 2001), and in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">State v. Chakerian<\/span>, 900 P.2d 511 (Or. App. 1995).\u00a0 The Michigan Court of Appeals observed that a defendant causes public terror or alarm \u201cany time a segment of the public is put in fear of injury either to their persons or their property.\u201d\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Kim<\/span>, 630 N.W.2d at 630 (quoting from <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">People v. Garcia<\/span>, 187 N.W.2d 711 (Mich. App. 1971)).\u00a0 The Oregon Court of Appeals noted that the term \u201calarm\u201d is defined as \u201cfear or terror resulting from a sudden sense of danger.\u201d\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Chakerian<\/span>, 900 P.2d at 516 (quoting from <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">State v.
