Reynolds<\/span>, No. 2008-452 (Vt. Nov. 2009) (unpub. mem.); <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">State v. Francis<\/span>, 151 Vt. 296 (1989).\u00a0 Any instructions on identity or causation may be expanded or contracted, depending on the significance of those issues in the case.\u00a0 The definition of \u201cbodily injury\u201d is found in 13 V.S.A. \u00a7 1021(1).\u00a0 The definition of \u201cdangerous weapon\u201d derives from <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">State v. Deso<\/span>, 110 Vt. 1, 8 (1938).\u00a0 A gun may be considered a \u201cdangerous weapon\u201d whether or not it is loaded.\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">State v. Parker<\/span>, 139 Vt. 179 (1980).\u00a0 Other relevant cases include <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">State v. Powell<\/span>, 158 Vt. 280 (1992); <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">State v. Dennis<\/span>, 151 Vt. 223, 224 (1989);<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">State v. Murphy<\/span>, 128 Vt. 288, 291-92 (1970); and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">State v. McClellan<\/span>, 82 Vt. 361 (1909).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As to the \u201crobbery\u201d part of \u201cassault and robbery,\u201d the statute applies where one, when assaulting another, \u201crobs, steals, or takes from his or her person or in his or her presence money or other property which may be the subject of larceny.\u201d 13 V.S.A. \u00a7 608(a).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For a discussion of the \u201cproperty which may be the subject of larceny\u201d element, see <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">State v.
